25 graduating classes – Reunions & memories – A time capsule. On April 2, the Tournai campus of HELHa marked a milestone: the 25th anniversary of its Bachelor’s in Communication programme.
Echoes of the past, voices of the future
The goal of the evening was to bring together students, graduates, teachers, and former staff in a warm and festive atmosphere.
An occasion to reconnect, reminisce… but also to look ahead to the future.
The central theme? “Echoes of the past, voices of tomorrow”, a slogan imagined by current students as part of a course project. Several groups were invited to design a creative concept for the event. Logo, activities, visual identity… many elements were conceived by the communication professionals of tomorrow.
A time capsule to open in 2050
Because an anniversary is also a chance to leave a legacy, a time capsule was buried during the evening.
Photos, love letters, small objects, keepsakes, testimonials… guests at the celebration slipped fragments of their HELHa story inside. The capsule will remain sealed until 2050.

A programme connected to the field
For a quarter of a century, HELHa’s Bachelor’s in Communication has been training professionals in the fields of cultural action, internal and external communication, and journalism.
A constantly evolving programme that stands out for:
- Numerous internships throughout the course;
- Teachers who are active professionals in the sector;
- A teaching approach closely linked to real-world practices;
- An e-portfolio as a final-year project—a true professional calling card.
