“As English is my native language, doing a clinical internship in Belgium has given me an excellent opportunity to improve my French skills. I also met other international students at the welcome day with whom I explore Belgium. Belgium is a beautiful country, and since many cities are very close to each other, it is easy to travel by train to different cities over the weekend.”

“My arrival in Belgium was a significant experience, and I want to share how warmly I was welcomed at HELHa. From my first steps on campus, I felt a warm and friendly atmosphere. The students and staff offered me a kind welcome, which helped me quickly feel at ease in this new environment. (…) I am very satisfied with my accommodation, which is comfortably equipped, allowing me to study while relaxing. Academically, I have integrated well into my courses thanks to the friendliness and accessibility of the professors, which has enhanced my well-being here. I highly recommend HELHa to all future students. Every day offers new discoveries and learning opportunities both academically and personally. I am grateful for this experience and look forward to discovering what the coming months have in store.”

Murielle, on mobility in Tournai

“The welcome was great; I received a briefing about Belgium, places to visit, specialties, Belgianisms, driving tips, and parking zone rules. (…) At the internship sites, the welcome was very warm, and the staff was understanding about the fact that we do not have the same codes or language. The supervision was surprising because the school teachers come to work with us and evaluate us, which I found very enriching. I continue my internship in Belgium with confidence and enthusiasm.”

Alessia, on mobility in Mons

“My arrival was very exciting, and the warm welcome from the team and my classmates really helped me integrate. The campus is dynamic, offering an environment conducive to exchanges and learning. The numerous activities organized and the diversity of students create a lively and stimulating atmosphere, fostering enriching interactions and encounters. (…) Mons and Belgium have so much to offer, whether through their historical sites, delicious cuisine, or festivals. Every day is a new opportunity to explore and learn. I feel fortunate to be able to live this unique experience, which enriches not only my academic journey but also my worldview.”
