HELHa also offers continuing education!

Beyond its wide range of initial degree programmes, HELHa also provides continuing education opportunities for professionals. These are organised by the Research and Continuing Education Centre, known as the CeREF. Here’s a quick overview.

In today’s evolving professional landscape, continuous learning is essential. Through CeREF, HELHa offers a catalogue of more than 120 training programmes across various fields, reflecting the four departments of the institution.

Each year, CeREF trains over 1,500 participants, including employees, alumni, job seekers, and more.

What makes continuing education at HELHa unique? Its strong connection to real-world professional practices.

Including social work and education

HELHa’s Education and Social Sciences Department also offers continuing education through the CeRSO programme.

These courses enable social workers, teachers, and educators to develop their expertise and stay aligned with current field realities.

In 2026, the CeRSO catalogue includes around 50 training courses and 3 certification programmes covering:

  • Professional and personal development
